Prolec PME200
Prolec is a market leader with 30 years of experience supplying machine productivity and safety systems to the construction equipment industry. Prolec’s success stems from innovative applications of sensor technology, application software, system integration and plant instrumentation. In more recent years Prolec have looked to redefine the market with their revolutionary Prolec Machine Engine (PME).
Prolec PME200 is Prolec’s most popular and versatile safety control system.
The Prolec PME200 is a load moment indicator compliant to UK and EN standards to ensure the safe operation of lifting equipment. The system will also provide guidance and control on the machine’s operating height limit, provide cab protection, monitor machine bucket depth and control reach on articulating equipment. The system is configured using Prolec’s proprietary ‘engine’ so will model any lifting plant by simple setup changes and utilises robust, easily viewed, hardware to provide maximum control of lifting operations. The system will also provide full logging of operation and driver behavious for later retrieval and play back and stores up to a year’s worth of data. When combined with suitable hydraulic conrols the system will lock out movement into pre-defined unsafe situations.
Like all Prolec PME products, the PME200 can be upgraded to use other functions and quickly through software changes to provide control on lifting, stability, machine envelope and cab protection.
