R.E. Buildings are a leading provider of specialist steel framed agricultural buildings, equipment and machinery. Established in 1989, R.E. Buildings is a family run business with more than forty employees working from a purpose built workshop and head office at Bay Horse, near Lancaster, in the heart of Lancashire, with clients throughout the UK.
After previously owning a P35.13 and a P40.17, R.E. Buildings were suitably impressed with their performance and reliability, so much so that when the time came to upgrade their fleet the new P40.17 was a simple choice.

The Merlo Telehandlers that R.E. Buildings chose benefit from ‘Frame Levelling’ and ‘Boom Side Shift’, two systems that are unique to the Merlo Telehandler. As with all Merlo’s both these models have the largest cab in the market, with unrivalled visibility in all directions.
Merlo Dynamic Load Control ensures that every operator works in total safety. With a basic version and a plus version, the latter ensures automatic recognition of the attachment fitted and calibrates the performance in relation to specific load charts. Therefore the operator can check at any time the dynamic equilibrium of the vehicle, thanks to the LED screen.
